Let the music speak.

Founded by a violinist. Run by people who still play.

Thomson Music House was started in 1970 by M.D. Thomas, a professional violinist. After opening the shop on Palace Road, he travelled across India learning the craft of violin and guitar making — knowledge that still shapes how every instrument is chosen and set up here.

Over five decades, long-standing relationships with makers and suppliers have made us Thrissur's one stop shop for musicians — and a trusted wholesaler for dealers across the region.

“An instrument should be chosen by ear and set up by hand.”
